The CSD has issued an alert to all dog owners after a recent spate of dog thefts from Cinniapolis households. Several households have reported a large-human sized animal has been spotted in their backyards while their dog is out. This news comes on the heels of Arn Murphy recently alleging he was mauled by an unknown creature while out for a bike ride.

While there is no video or third party witnesses to corroborate the victim’s descriptions, there are some commonalities. All parties privy to the sight of this beast have described it as covered in black hair, pale human-like skin, and large over-sized teeth. A witness who wished to remain anonymous said, “I swear it’s a human. Looks human, moves like a human. I stared in it’s eyes, there was a soul in there. But, once it fixated on my Ludwig (dog name), there was a hunger. I got in between the creature and Ludwig and was fortunate to get back inside unharmed.”

There is something on the loose in Cinniapolis. But, it’s uncertain if it’s animal, human, or something alien. Whatever it is, CSD CEO Rhonda Dixon urges extreme caution, “The most important thing is safety. If you see this creature, get to a safe place and call the CSD. Don’t approach it, don’t confront it, and don’t fight it. For the interim, please escort your dogs around the yard and don’t leave them unattended for any amount of time. The CSD is on alert and we have increased patrols around the areas where sightings have been reported,” she said. “We’re also working around the clock to locate the missing dogs and return them to their owners.”
