Mr. Gondola was married to Jane Gondola for 62 years. He was the father to Anthony Jr., Giovanni “Van”, Greta, Marie, and Vanessa. He was grandfather to Mayor Preston and Buck Gondola (Van); Thurman Holmes (Marie); Calvin, Ridley, and Anthony Morris (Vanessa). He chaired the establishment of the Cinniapolis Post Office in 1944. He also helped establish the St. Boris parish in 1950. Mr. Gondola passed away in 1998 at the age of 96.
