Mr. Murphy is an active participant in local Cinniapolis politics. Tapping into his family’s generational wealth from Murphy Construction and Murphy Waste Management, he has financed two unsuccessful gubernatorial campaigns in an attempt to unseat the Gondola family’s grip on the mayoral seat, including his most recent bid in 2018. Mr. Murphy is the Chairman of the Board for Murphy Construction and Murphy Waste Management.
